Teapot for Tempest is a lifestyle application designed for iPhone users who own the Tempest Weather System by WeatherFlow-Tempest, Inc. This app allows users to have a locally displayed console that shows their weather observations and hyper-local forecasts on a single screen in real-time. With Teapot for Tempest, users can access daily and hour-by-hour forecasts for up to 7 days.
The app is optimized for readability, with the iPad version readable from up to 12 feet away and iPhones easily readable when used as a desktop console. Teapot for Tempest offers two display options: the "Home" view, which shows relevant data such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, rain, and sky conditions, and the "Storm" view, which displays a live weather radar map. The app also provides a "Forecast" view with detailed hyper-local forecasts.
Installation and setup are quick and easy, taking less than 5 minutes. Users can rest assured that their weather data stays private, as only approved devices can access it. Additionally, Teapot for Tempest offers Nearcast compatibility and a rainfall calibration function to improve the accuracy of rainfall readings.
